After my by-pass surgery in 1989, my wife, Eleanor "Buddy" said to me "maybe we should think about living at John Knox Village.” I admit that at first I was very apprehensive about the idea, but after that first visit to John Knox Village we decided the timing was right to make the move.

In August of 1990, we received a call telling us they had a two-bedroom apartment available and we moved in a short time later. We have now been here 14 years and have never regretted our decision. When people ask us our opinion about

John Knox Village, our stock answer is "we are right where we belong at this time in our lives."

My brother also lived at John Knox Village and spent a year in the Med Center (nursing wing) so I know first hand about the super care he received and that makes living here a "no-brainer". We come and go as we please and have excellent security. We do just what we want to every day without thinking about household chores. That allows us to spend more quality time together and visit with our children and grandchildren who live right here in the Valley. You ought to check it out!
