Ed had been living at John Knox Village for a while when Irene moved here to be near her brother and his wife. She didn't stay single for long. It was love at first sight! And they are having a wonderful life "the second time around". After the wedding, Irene was thrilled to move from her studio unit into Ed's large converted two-bedroom apartment where they watch the beautiful Texas sunsets together.

Another thrill for Irene is having the extra closet space that Ed had installed. Now that will keep a woman happy every time! After celebrating 14 years together, they still hold hands and spend most all of their time with each other. Ed & Irene are always eager to help at the Village by volunteering their time because Ed & Irene don't do a lot cooking or household chores and this leaves them "foot loose and fancy free"! Come on over and meet Ed & Irene sometime. They'll tell you what they think of John Knox Village. Oh yes! If it's dinnertime, they will be dining at a table for two along the east wall of the dining room. They still like togetherness!
